A reservoir supported by the dam is used for cooling at the plant. The threat to its safety grew more severe after the Kakhovka Dam burst last week. Mr Grossi said he met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss the nuclear plant. Rafael Mariano Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, spoke to journalists in Kyiv just before leaving on a trip to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant today. It said the content spread on the fake sites criticised the Ukrainian armed forces and amplified criticism of sanctions against Russia and the impact of Ukrainian refugees on other European countries. VIGINUM said it had identified 355 domain names pretending to be European media outlets, such as French daily newspapers Le Monde and Le Figaro. "No attempt at manipulation will distract France from its support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s war of aggression." In a strongly-worded statement in the report, VIGINUM said: "France condemns these actions, which are unworthy of a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. Russia's embassy in France did not immediately comment on the allegations, which were detailed in a report released today, according to the Associated Press. The French agency responsible for fighting foreign digital interference, VIGINUM, said it has monitored the alleged operation since soon after Russia invaded Ukraine.įrance said it was not the only European country to be targeted. The French government also accused Russia of spoofing popular French websites and newspapers. An excellent album that can easily be recommended for more than just soundtrack aficionados.France has accused Russia of impersonating its foreign ministry's website. The local source music, too, adds to this, giving the album a grounding in the real world that completes the overall structure. Where Sakamoto easily sketches panorama with his music, Horowitz sketches in mystery. Horowitz' part in this is in stepping away from traditional Western scoring and using Middle Eastern elements for score structures - something that's very effective indeed on "Fever Ride" with its blend of Moroccan and Spanish elements. The diversity thus makes for a more interesting album than might have been had from variations on the main minor-key "Sheltering Sky" theme (presented here in orchestrated and piano-based versions.) It also breaks away from the sound of Sakamoto's recordings, strong material that suffers from a certain digital harshness in the strings. Part of the reason for the variation is that only twelve of the album's 21 tracks are by Sakamoto - several are source music, others were composed by Richard Horowitz. A varied soundtrack album that manages to weave in a little variation from the traditional type of motion picture scoring indulged in here by Sakamoto.
